• CollegeScholarships.com is a site that assists in finding ways to pay for college including scholarships, loans, and tuition plans.

• College Scorecard is a U. S. Dept. of Education web site that gives college-bound students and their families financial information such as cost of tuition, average student debt incurred, and loan default rates for any U. S. college or university.

• Colleges Like provides helpful information on the college search and the application process as well as tips for the non-traditional student.

• Common Application is available to high school seniors beginning August 1 of each year.   At this one site, a student can submit an application to any of more than 900 colleges

• Federal Student Aid is another U. S. Dept. of Education web site that contains all the info a student considering college needs about investigating and applying for student aid.

• OhioHigherEd, sponsored by the Ohio Dept. of Higher Education, helps you gather information on planning for, selecting, and paying for college in Ohio.

• On-line Colleges in Ohio provides details on more than 200 colleges and universities throughout the state that offer some form of on-line education.   Many of them feature bachelor's and graduate degrees that can be completed entirely on-line.

• Smart Option Student Loan is a site sponsored by the Student Loan Marketing Assoc. or SallieMae.   The site contains all sorts of info for undergraduate and graduate student loans.

• Bureau of Labor Stastistics, a branch of the U. S. Dept. of Labor, offers a wide-ranging array of data on career availability, trends, and expected earnings.

• Careers in the Military explores the wide range of career opportunities in all branches of the military.

• College and Career Academies have been implemented by the Akron Public Schools for its traditional high schools.   Each high school will offer a selection of career pathways that lead to in-demand jobs offering sustainable wages.

• Ohio Labor Market Info, a site sponsored by the Ohio Dept. of Job and Family Services, allows you to explore career and apprenticeship opportunities.

• Ohio's Top Jobs shows trends and salaries for jobs in Ohio, careers that are in demand, and provides a job search engine.
