Sean Robbins, Summit County
Sports Hall of Fame Inductee

Sean Robbins East High and Ashland University grad, Sean Robbins, is one of the inductees into the 2023 class of the Summit County Sports Hall of Fame.  

Robbins was a 12-time NCAA All-America selection for the long jump, triple jump, and 400 meters while competing at Ashland.

In 1995 Robbins broke the Ohio collegiate long jump record then held by the legendary Jesse Owens.

The Hall of Fame induction ceremony and banquet was held on October 3 at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 129 South Union St. in Akron.
