Robinson
Receives
Mural Grant

The Neighborhood Partnership Program, part of the Akron Community Foundation, has given The Academy at Robinson a grant in the amount of $7,500 to support the "Mural of Reflections." The mural will be a joint school and community work of art.

Home of the Eagles

There will be more graduation ceremonies from Robinson, but no more will take place in the old building. Beginning this August, Robinson students will occupy the nearly completed Robinson Community Learning Center building constructed beside the old building. The old Robinson building will then be torn down and the space used for a playground.

On June 5, students and teachers took part in the last graduation ceremony to be held in the old building ( Akron Beacon Journal story here).
