Seiberling
Receives
G.A.R. Grant
The Akron Public Schools have been awarded a $56,236.38 grant from
the
G.A.R.
Foundation.
Of that amount, Seiberling will receive $11,236.38 to be used for a program called
"Focusing on Math through Art and Music."

Meet Seiberling's New Principal
|

|
Seiberling welcomes its new principal, Kathy Maddex. Ms. Maddex served as
principal at Miller-South School until last February. At that time, School
Superintendent, David James, assigned her to oversee the closing of five school buildings
in the Akron district.
Last year's principal, Mrs. Karen Gegick, has been re-assigned to the position of
Executive Director of the Office of Teaching and Learning for the Akron Public School System.
