Good Neighbors, Inc.
Good Neighbors, Inc., is a non-profit, charitable organization providing food,
clothing, and household items to people in need. Their philosophy, simply
stated, is "Good Neighbors helping good neighbors who are in need of a little help."
The business office is located at 1453 Goodyear Blvd., and the food pantry is
just around the corner at 1456 Bingham Path.

Goodyear Branch Library
The Goodyear Branch Library, part of the Akron-Summit County Public Library
system, is located in a brand new building at 60 Goodyear Blvd. — the address
it has occupied since 1939. Originally known as the East Branch Library,
the Goodyear Branch is home to 9,888 registered borrowers, has a collection of 73,032 items,
and circulated 145,805 items (2010 data) .
In addition to numerous programs for young readers, the library offers meeting rooms for
community groups. In fact, Councilman Moneypenny holds his monthly ward meetings here.
